You know, this is my first venture in the general discussion forum (after 200 odd posts), I didn't realise overclockers was a front for political extremism. I sense a Panorama report...

The way the BBC have dumbed dowm Panorama over the years the show is no longer the hotbed for political extremism outing that it used to be.
Next weeks Panaroma focuses on the startling horror that the director general of the bbc has lost his cat.

Now, the point is Muffin, my old fruitcake, is that the stuff which I find offensive isn't limited to good old GD - where, given the forum title, different points of view are positively encouraged. I don't care (to a certain degree) what rascist xenophobic, sexist claptrap you lot engage in. But not when I am trying to rebuild my disaster of a rig!!

Do you mean fix the PC? The signatures aren't limited to only GD, they exist all over the forum obviously so Kirth Gersen gets to see them even if he only posts in GH or wherever and GD being the largest is the most obvious place to complain. However if he wants the ability to show and see his PC specification in signatures then it must be accepted that anything else not banned will be shown also - for all I know there is a sizeable proportion who are entirely fed up of seeing PC specifications in signatures.

Well, the stuff in his sig pays for these forums so I guess your only option is to turn all sigs off!

Besides, it's nothing to do with e-peen well, in some cases I'm sure it is, but more often than not you want people to know exactly what rig you have so they can offer more pertinent advice, and it's handy to see other people's because, say, if you see someone with the exact same kit as yours running at a higher overclock, you can bother him and ask him exactly how he tweaked his system to get it.

Yes there are lots of posters and threads...But they aren't exactly loading images (which are 99.9999999% hosted elsewhere)...
