Anyone heard of Polk Audio?
I have been running AE Aego M's on my pc for months but yesterday I decided to steal my dads hifi (I'm so dead when he gets back
)
Anyway its Polk Audio Monitor Series 2, basically 2 sats with tweeter and about 5-6cm mid and then a seperate sub about 10-12". This stuff is old, my dad picked them up years ago as an ex demo set. Cant find any info on them on the net.
I also stole his Technics Amp, its a class AA at least 15 years old.
Over all its a little louder than the Aego's, deffinatley more bass but on the whole I dont think the sound quality is as good, they sound a little muffled, maybe its their age, maybe it just needs tweaking but i'm not that good at messing with graphic equalizers, im never happy lol.
Some of the new Polk stuff looks very tasty indeed.
