Basically whilst watching the one show on bbc 1 I'd actually like to know why we, as licence payers, actually have to pay for such utter drivel. It's seriously unprofessional for a start with people just laughing, even behind the camera at everything and they even rebranded a helicopter with the One Show logo...

So yeah, poll should be is it actually worth us paying the licence fee for or not?

My vote is definately no!

Inb4 worth it for Christine, though this may be my view :P

Overall, I say no, there's only a few shows I watch on the Beeb. It's gotten to the point where I don't think it represents good value for money.

Exhibit A being Hole in the Wall.

Are you watching it now?! Is peter Kay drunk?!

I think it's worth it, you could apply that argument to any BBC program, thing is there's something for everyone really. Will always be stuff you don't like, in which case turn over.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and as said above, worth it for Christine;)

This comes on after the news doesn't it? Always thought that show was complete garbage.

(No I don't watch TV much.)

Yeah true but who the hell is this meant to be aimed at lol? It's not funny in the slightest and it's not even intellectual...

Also, this is the first time I've noticed this:

Google now searches live Twitter posts?

I don't mind it. It's just lighthearted chat really, I'm not really looking to intellectually stimulated whilst I'm eating my dinner.

Anyway, BBC makes up anything I don't agree with with the likes of Top Gear, Gavin and Stacey, QI, awesome nature programs etc etc...

This^^ Except G&S which I think is garbage now :p

Never heard of it before, so I voted no. That said, the license fee is meant to cater for the majority so if a lot of people watch it then I guess to them it is worth it.

It's not really my cup of tea but can understand (sort of :p) why people like it.

I have watched it a couple of times when they have had a guest i particularly like.

1) The license fee pays for more than just this
2) The show is very popular, even if most of us here don't like it
3) Mmmm Christine

I watched this the other day and was speechless at how awesomely good looking she was/is.

Worth every penny of the license fee imo. :p
