I don't know but with 11.2 in the darkness my face id doesn't work at all now :/ maybe rescan my face later on...not sure

Not had a single problem with my Face ID at all like you say maybe try a rescan

Yeah that worked...face id actually stopped working completely, I couldn't even set it up from the beginning. Only restart of the phone helped.

Don't install it unless you want a terribly designed and placed line at the top right of your lock screen

Given the local notification respring bug on anything lower than 11.2. Not updating really isn’t an option.

Ring Vodaphone and ask, IIRC I don't think they can say no but you may have to pay a fee.

I think most Networks say you have to have had the phone for at least 3 months if it is a pay monthly phone or at least 30 days if it is a PAYG phone.

According to the Vodafone website, they unlock their phones for free though they might insist on a charge for an iPhone x.

I don't know why it would really matter these days if you're locked into a contract with them? As you still have an obligation to pay it all off.

Face ID is perfect for me. It even works when I’m half asleep halfway under the covers early in the morning.

What I meant was, what does it really matter to the network. Either you’ve paid full price for the phone, or you’ve signed up to a contract that covers the cost of the phone over the life of the contract.

Seems odd they’d make you wait a fixed amount of time these days, as even if you switch phones or sell it, you’ll still be paying for it through your contract.

I’ve done a backup from a old 6 to the X. Most the pics are all white. Any idea why ?
