Poor 'Race For Life' Website Design

Race For Lifes website kindly let me enter 12 peoples data into there site, address , post code numbers etc....

The system let me get to 'Checkout' function to pay for the entries...

When i was greeted with this message

Now Im a quick typer, but 10 minutes takes the No swearing - Gilly!

Right now if a house wife was sitting typing a few of friends into the website , I can assure you it would take more than 10 minutes!

Poor site design imo , me mother was just about to say leave it, until i decided to do it in 2 batches of 6

The charity will be loosing £10000s with people frustrated with the site, as it is the only method of entry, they dont even accept cheques!

That is poor and a feable implementation of security. What that's in place for, as far as i know, is so if you leave your computer unattended, others can't enter details on your name.

Well, wow, that's ace, i will of course leave a page open for days at a details entry section and let some frausters into my hosue for a browse.

Whats wrong with RoGu3^SoLd13R like? Been playing with this name since the dawn of online gaming! had to do [] as a registered the otherone and it sent to wrong email :S

I'm not a fan of excessive '1337' language. But back on topic, some of my friends have had the exact same problem with that website and the 10 minute 'rule' is retarded. Is there some way to complain or contact them about it?

What does the speed of your typing have to do with it? The message says it timed out because it was idle for 10 mins.

Urm, webpages are static, you dont communicate with the webserver every key you press, only when you submit the data at the end

the server won't know if you're typing a million words/minute, if you're not sending/receiving data, its "idle"

Well I had typed in the details, then went through this 12 times , new page for every person, so it was alwats contacting the server, i never went idle at all, just the system thought I did
