Went down to Gwennap Head near Lands End last night to shoot some more for my Land Sea Sky series. Sadly the sea was pretty big, meaning that long exposures ended up really 'misty' and the waves were too big to get near enough for super-wide goodness. However, I did get the following after sunset, when I'd trudged back to the car at Porthgwarra, which is much more sheltered:

Love that second image. I really like how the water looking that misty gives the shot a very unreal look. What settings did you shoot at?

absolutely love the 2nd one, any chance of a high res version of it? username at f2s dot com . Would love to stick that through one of the big printers at work.

Sorry, forgot to update this thread...

Phate, these are all now available as prints on my redbubble page (there's also a rather funky calendar with them all on too ;))

PF and Paul, the second shot is a blend of three exposures, the first of about 2 minutes with a 6-stop ND filter to smooth the main body of water, the second without the filter of 1.5 seconds to retain the detail in falling water, and the third somewhere in the middle for the textured water in the midground.

Origin, afraid I'm no longer dishing out high-res versions, if you'd like a print can I recommend visiting the link above :p
