Surely educating people that they need to pay attention when walking/crossing roads would be a better idea.

I'd like to see them try and enforce that ban.

This reminds me of the times I've seen idiots in Reading walking into roads without even looking, and this is without any gadget related distractions.

computer licence
in home quality of life tax increase assessment
self sufficient energy tax
adult curfew and late business permit licence
opt out donor cards

Stupid really, considering I was watching an older episode of the gadget show last night and the guy was messing about with a car-pc, windows xp the lot, music, films, internet, surely this is more dangerous than people walking whilst sending a message.

No wonder there are population problems, with the government making people aware of the dangers of crossing a road while looking down at your handheld device, and all the rest of it
