I wouldn't be surprised if there are no dual chip cards from either side, for these last ditch 28nm series of cards this time round.

Not a bad call, but the dual chip cards are an easy way for the company in question to take the performance crown. So in that regard they are a good way to gain the "fastest card" title, which is generally a positive thing even when people know the card is slightly gimped by having to run the GPUs in SLI or Crossfire.

I was under the impression AMD wont be releasing a dual gpu card like the 295x2 initially however they are planning on releasing a dual card of sorts but it is aimed at VR and setup to deliver synchronised frames to dual screens in VR headsets.

Kind of makes sense if the card can split the signal into a screen in each lense of the headset, would make it very powerful indeed.

I can't be bothered to look through all the crap you guys post but is there are definite news on the next cards from AMD?

No... which is worrying, in old days we would get this information ages a go, now due to competition they keep them secret.

Competition of one... Nvidia. Who aren't so much competition as the school yard bully standing over the puny runt beating the crap out of them, laughing as they do so.

Bullys at school usually end up making a career in manual labour, have shot knees and hips by the time they are 40 and die of liver disease 10 years later.
