Great case using it myself atm :D am about to put two 290x under water with corsair HG10 and H75 the rads will be installed in the front like yourself.

Should get pretty good temps, though keeping the front panel off is recommended, waiting on the meshed panel being available soon. :)

Yeah I was thinking that. But having two SP in push pull am hoping does the job.
Quick question am right that the front can indeed hold two 120 rads?

I also ordered 3x 3.5 to 5.25 converters for HDDs

i just really think amd is being lazy with the cooling because they know their cards run hot/loud but instead of sorting that and designing a better air cooler they just say oh yeah we'll just put a water cooler on it and job done.

Theres meant to be an aircooled version available as well.

Not really, nothing beats water cooling.. Atm the proper way is very pricey and also requires some skill and understanding.. These AIO water cooling is the future..

What is they to hate about quite, faster performing hardware? Granted the looks might put some people off, but they tend to be guys who enjoy full water cooling.

not everybody likes water-coolers in their rig even tho it's sealed...

why is it that companys like powercolor, sapphire, etc can design way better air coolers that keep the temps way down and quiet, but amd can't.

We don't know either way. There will obviously be third party cards with different coolers as well.

Yeah, it's possible with all the heat coming from the core / centre of the card, a big enough heat-sink and dual fans should keep the card pretty cool under air.

The Titan X is hardly a quiet card either. I've got used to it but it is def louder than the 980 I had before.

Sure vendors will come up with some decent cooling, Sapphire, ASUS etc. HIS are rumoured to come back with new cards as well. Prob gonna grab a Sapphire card with air cooling. Bring on the benchmarks !

Because they're designing coolers that exhaust heat into the case, a lot easier to put multiple larger fans on a heatsink and have it quiet compared to a blower design, whereas reference cards usually have a blower design to exhaust the heat with 1 smaller fan.

Good point, also amd want you to have them in crossfire, reference design helps here also. Aftermarket is a pain at keeping temperature under control just look at my GPU spacing lol and it still isn't enough.

couldn't they put two fans and half the fan speed?

tbh i've not had any issue temps with aftermarket cooling, my pcs+'s i get 61c/70c and thats only with a very small spacing

Do you using vsync though or lock frame rate to 60hz?

Gta5 is really pushing my two 144hz top gpu is getting mid 80s reason am now going to use water..
Other games not been an issue high 70s normally were it's at.
