How many v10 engines do BMW make. As lots of car manufactures/modifiers use that engine.

I can't read that!

The referenced article also points to a twin supercharged version of the M5 engine. At what point does the 3 series chassis become overwhelmed? Surely it's designed to go from 318i to M3.

Well you would think so but have you seen it recently? Max and the other boy-racer type magazines have all attempted to reinvent themselves as EVO for the masses. Less flesh and improved literacy.

IIRC the saloon 3 series Hartge built with the V10 had "issues" with driveability.
 
Yesterday BMW sent me an invitation to test drive the new M3 next weekend, I hope it's a bit more exciting than the old one.
Has anyone driven one yet? Any opinions?

Hi there

If you find it more exciting than the E46 I will be surprised because the press all claim its not as much a drivers car any more. Accept the invitation and let us all know it goes. :)
 
Yeah i was quite suprised actually, on a long train journey home a few weeks back the only decent magazine was Redline. No boobies at all and was generally pretty good. And none of the cars were rubbish 106's with stupid body kits.
