Post your daily encounter and random bike pics here

I was at Snetterton with my mate on Monday, spoke to a few of the guys that were doing the double header, they said 3/4 of the garages were flooded, all those tyre warmers..

Thought we'd hit the jackpot with the weather for Monday, glorious sunshine.

Shame my bike broke down on the 4th lap of the first session, that was my day over, ended up being pit bitch to my mate for the rest of the day!

Plenty rode to the track, novice and inters were i'd say around 50% road bikes!

Sounds like you (or at least your mate) had better luck then us. My dad came off his 998s and ended up in hospital too. There was at least 1 crash every session i think, some had multiple.

What's up with your bike?

Looked slightly wet! When I first went to Silverstone it poured down in the morning and riding around on Supercorsa's when people were coming past on full wets was a bit daunting.

Nothing major, although when it started messing about I thought the engine was about to pop, spluttering and losing power at 15k rpm down the back straight well into 3 figures was a bit worrying. Backed off brought it back into paddock, checked it over. Seemed Ok, went to start it to go and get it noise tested and it wouldn't crank. Dead battery. It doesn't have a stator/generator. Has to be charged between sessions which is a pain.

Hope your Dad is ok. There were a few red flags Monday, mate said it was carnage in places!

Parked next to this yesterday, awesome! Love the fact he's put a satnav on such an classic bike.

:D awesome things. Rode one in India a few months ago. Slow, clunky, felt like it was going to break down, but that's what made it so cool!

Mine was newer than the one above though, had the brakes on the right side.

I wonder how much this plate cost him....

Forgot to get a screen grab from my cam but I rode past a guy the other week on a scooter on a NSL A road which can get a bit hairy in nothing more than a pair of shorts and some flip flops.
Obviously thought he was still on holiday in Maga with the lads :D

New ZX10r announced today by Kawasaki. 207bhp, more electric gizmos than a Zx Spectrum, Brembo M50 monobloc calipers, basically their WSB motorcycle with lights for the road. This will shake up the Euro 1000's that have been dominating the market the past few years. About time, just need Suzuki to pull their finger out too.

While filtering through traffic this evening I met a lovely biker lass coming the other way on an R125 (no L plates). Rare to see a proper girly biker, they're normally, how shall I say... a little butch.:D Not this one ;)
