I saw an A6 (I think) with rings that lit up, came home confused and then googled and found that you can buy these online.

Seems wildly inflated. Even says in the info that it was sold to a collector for 28k in 2007. What makes it suddenly worth 4x this?

Financial crash and 0% interest rates meant people put their money elsewhere. That 28k would not be worth 100k now sitting in a bank far from it!
