If it's not type approved though, surely the stipulated allowable towing weight is 0kg and thus towing anything at all is liable (albeit probably not likely) to land you in hot water?

The warranty is a separate issue really

had a quick google

Not all specs/variant of a particular model are individually type-approved for all criteria, so I suppose it will depend on:

1) Whether the RS6 is viewed/categorised as an individual model, i.e. distinct for the rest of the Audi *6 range.

2) Whether the 'towing' criteria is engine/derivative specific (as the regular A6 will have been type approved for towing)

Just because Audi won't warrant it, doesn't mean it will be illegal...

Sounds good to me, albeit probably wrong :p

I'll go one batter and just take a photo of him towing a boat with it (to prevent incriminating ourselves I'll ensure its within the marina or our private yard), honestly he really won't care either way and we are towing things a maximum of 1.5-2 miles anyway and the local bobby wouldn't know an rs6 from an A6 :p

wonder if we could beat that reyland cossie at max speed caravan towing?! we have two old vans up at the yard!

That's just a list of requirements to force yourself into an RS6

Get a dedicated legal tow car.
Put down the dog.

Purchase Rapide .

The DB9 I rented for two weeks, broke down 4 times in the first day, the sat nav was beyond awful and the stupid handbrake positioning made me want to strangle people.

apart from that I'm a total aston fan..... :D

Personally my money would go on a lambo.....in yellow and a bus pass for the other two passengers :p

Well it's was just a dodgy thrashed rental car :p

Men don't use sat nav.

Handbrake haven't touched it since I first got in the car!

With 1800 miles on the clock!?

I was gutted, been a fan of them since I was first able to consider buying one, ended up getting a C2s instead after we sold the 360 and I was 'lumbered' with the cayenne turbo.

So glad I left that lifestyle, even typing all that made me feel pretentious :(

If I was a policeman I would be a all over anyone with a numberplate like that :p
Including the GTR with the incorrect spacing!

I have incorrect spacing on mine, been tugged plenty of times and never once have they mentioned it. Not sure, but I think they care more when you try to make letters/numbers using bolts or weird fonts.

Here's mine after a detailing session and extensive waxing

Had to spend the day sanding off anti foul on our boat that we race, perk of the job, the owner (my cousin) let us use the hugely pratical rs6 'truck', looks right at home surrounded by 4x4s :p
