Hi all, I've got 3 lovely looking pork chops sitting in my fridge downstairs but haven't got a clue what to marinade them in.

I love anything spicy/oriental style with chilli and garlic but would like to hear all YOUR favourite marinade recipes for inspiration :D.

Post away...

Pork and Plum Sauce

Finely chopped ginger
Couple of garlic cloves crushed
1 Green Chilli finely chopped (deseeded)
Soy Sauce (about a tablespoon)
Sharwoods plum sauce.

Serve with spring onions.

I'm going to shallow fry them :D.

Gash, you be better grilling them. Since you like spicy, I shall introduce you to jerk.

The Sauce:

12 Scotch bonnet peppers (or substitute habaneros), seeds and stems removed
3 onions, chopped
2 clove garlic finely chopped
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tablespoons ground allspice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup minced scallions

Blend all that up, keeps for months in the fridge anyway.

Simply brush the stuff over your pork, grill them.

Chops are not really too great at frying imho.

Well we have a winner for this lot of pork chops :D. Now for the habanero/scotch bonnet hunt as last time I used habaneros it took me an age to find them :(.
