computer monitor for picture :eek: a good thing i'm only 2m in front of it when i'm watching anything :)

can you tell it's leaning towards hifi performance ;)

currently deciding what's more worth my while (or is that money): getting a dedicated AV amp or getting the LCR60 to replace the awfull yam, and match the B&W fronts.... either would be around 200 squids, so hopefully if i put the decision off long enough i'll be able to afford both :D

Heres my humble offering to the hifi/home cinema gods.

ibm t40 and shuttle with over 1000 wmas and 1000 mp3s (all genuine 192kbps rips from cds), 30gb and 240gb respectively total storage, ati remote wonder on order for remote operation.

sony qs range hifi seperates radio, md, and stereo amp. sony 32ls60 100hz virtual dolby flat screen tv, sony 305 dvd player and 820 vcr hooked up with top of the range monster scart cables (£60 each), and lower end cambridge audio pacific interconnects (red). Sony silver ps2 and loads of blue lights just for good measure.

Just got this Monday afternoon - Sony KD-32DX150 iDTV and Panasonic SC-DT310 region free...just need to finish tidying the cables and sort out the DVD setup...

My arms are still weak and i couldnt make a fist for a good 10mins after i walked across leicester with the L+R's here last weekend:-


Sound quality absolutely blew me away...bass is fast and tighter than a nuns arse, treble is crystal clear at high volume and im hearing things ive never heard before from CDs (not to mention now realising how crap MP3's are compared to the real thing).

Very happy:) Just need to get the THX 504 centre, move the one i have as a rear centre, and pick up some bipolar 903's for the rear surrounds.
