How've you done that with the GBA games?Got my Desire a few days ago.
And the calender thing, are people having seperate calenders for each type of event? Because i cannot see how to colour each event on one calender...? (this is through google calenders online btw).
Not sure myself what the situation is with Desire rooting, but I guess if you think you would use the rooted features it's worth it, I'm happy I rooted my phone but it was really easy with the Galaxy Portal, not much to go wrong and the portal is pretty well equipped to recover from boot problems, which I haven't encountered.
Check out my post here, and hopefully some replies soon, might give you some more motivation to root, or not, thought I would make the list there instead of cluttering up this thread
Yeah, it wouldn't let me create a shortcut to the phone, kept saying "this app is not installed"

Is there an easy way to take screenshots on the Desire? The only ways I can find are to install Java and Android SDK's (and Java SDK won't install on my PC, just hangs) or you need a rooted phone (which mine isn't and I don't have the time or enthusiasm to do this).

its a nice 480x360 screen.. I'm quite happy with it!

Running tether (which I'm posting this through) and GPS for speedhud, web desktop, also it's a hot fricking day! Status bar is a mess too =/
Have to say, even being on a train going over 100mph tethering to my phone is better than the average train wifi!
At least it will be until I start crossing into Scotland!
