I notice on your weather widget that you have been able to remove the background shading behind the display.

How did you do this? I have the yr.no weather widget and also a Mini Info widget that I would also like to get rid of the background for.

I wish I was good at all this desktop stuff. Every time I try something it ends up looking rubbish compared to what you guys come up with!

Looking for a good notes app, any recommendations? would like a widget of some sort for them too, if such a thing exists :).

/EDIT - Bums. It isn't working for me. Maybe because I'm only running 2.1? Just says it fails to install whilst trying to install the app with HTC Sync. Oh well :)

Use ASTRO and uninstall any existing versions first.
 
Look back, I assume you're using yr.no widgets (the old version before it got nuked for copying htc flipclock style). there's a modded version I linked to earlier with transparent background.

The wallpaper is our new Whippet puppy called Alfie. He was 8 weeks old in that pic, he's now 9!
