What is holding the second intake fan in place, looks like foam? Been thinking about adding another fan up there myself. Also does the addition of the top two fans cause a noticeable difference for you in terms of temperature?
Yep its just packing foam - Its fairly hard, although has a little give in it so its ideal. I just cut two small rectangles of it with a Stanley knife, the fan is wedged in between them. Works well.
The top two fans are exhausting out the top - I use Asus Fan Xpert (motherboard included software) - which is fine, but unfortunately its the older version, so custom control is only available for the CPU fans. Therefore all the other case fans can only run at certain designated speeds. On quiet, the Apache Blacks 120's at the front and back are spinning so slowly that I wonder if they really do much for the temperature! Fortunately, the top and front Xigmatek 140's still move a fair amount of air, even on quiet setting.

Definitely the two at the top. Mainly because unless you are watercooling and have a radiator up there, then its just wasted sapce. So its ideal to throw a couple of fans up there for extra air flow.
