not totally sure this should be in here... but what the hey :)

I'm looking to get into power kiting in the near future, partially just to play around with from standing, and partly to play with on my dirtsurfer (think mountian board with 2 large bmx wheels)

what would people recomend for a beginner kite for low to medium conditions with enough power to get some speed up on the dirtsurfer?

Cheers
Sam

I have (or rather, nick my brother's) a couple of Wipikas - not really entry level (and very expensive), and they are designed for use on water rather than land (they have inflatable leading edges).

You could always try some out - there are a fair few places that do kite buggying / boarding, and they will often have huges quivers to try - at the very least, you should be saving yourself from any expensive bad choices.
