Good afternoon oh knowledgeable ones, and... well... not so knowledgeable ones!

I have a quick question regarding the power delivery in my car. I drive a 1998 1.8 Astra and I noticed last night on my drive home that the power delivery doesn't seem as constant as it used to. It still pulls very well up until about 5k revs, but then it seems to flatten out slightly until 5.5k when it feels like it pulls again.

I'm a complete noob with cars, but I was wondering whether this should be anything to worry about too much? It's not a big loss, just a slight one, but I thought I could ask around and guage if it's something I should have looked at.

it could be dirty air/fuel filter spark plugs/leads need changing :)

Could the 02 sensor be it? I've had the Engine Management light pop on a couple of times and that was apparantly due to the 02 sensor. I doubt it's the sparks or leads, as I had both of those changed and the coil pack in January when I bought the car.

Thanks for the quick responses. I'll have it looked at next time I take it to the garage. I'm guessing I don't need to be too worried about it?
