Power requirements for a HD 3870 XT??

I am thinking of chopping in my X1950Pro and jumping to one of the HD 3870 XT's but I'm a bit concerned whether my PSU will give out enough juice!?!

I have an Akasa PaxPower 460W PSU that I've had for a while - any idea if this will be OK for one of the above cards??

Should be all right. I think the minimum required is 450W.

my power usage dropped a little going from a X1800XT 512 to the HD3870XT i had a very hot, early run X1800 tho. but you should be ok.

yeah the 3870 will use a fair bit less than the old x1800, so should be fine.
