Power supply adaptor for 6pin gfx card?

Ok just got my 1950pro and noticed its only got a 6pin power supply socket. The power supply in my machine only has the older 4 pin things even though its a new machine! Can you get an adaptor for it or do i have to get a new power supply now!

Im suprised your card never came with one, anyway here you go , thats what your after, will connect up to your PSU fine so no need for a new one.

You can get the converter for it! OcUK does do them, but at the moment they are out of stock it seems.

You may be able to get them other places perhaps a local computer fair, if you are lucky.

Yeah its not to bad as they are very easy to get hold of.

HIS X1950 Pro huh? yeah its the only card that doesn't come with the converter, all other brands do.

If thats the case it might of been handy to put it on the stock description on the webpage here? ah well, i can pick one up on the way to work tomorrow.

yeah, that would be a good idea, it was one of things I made sure I got with the card, since theres none in any of the stores around here, and I really could not be bothered to wait for one to be delivered from some random supplier
