HI all,

Just want some feedback on this card please, I am looking to spend about £200-250 on a card and was looking at this one.

Also does any one know what minimum PSU for this is - I have 480.

All views & comments welcome.

Thanks.

Yeah the x1800 XT is a stonking card, and at that price its a bargain, its faster than the 7800 GTX, and the 7900 GT to, and as said your PSU should be fine. :)

Welcome to the forums btw. :)

Thanks guys.

It’s a Antec True Blue.

I have just returned my X1800XL 256 due to possible fault and was going to pay a little extra and purchase this one.

ive got a X1800XT dont know how it is yet cause i still dont have some stuff, but once i get it all up and running ill give yay my opinion

Now im thinking of paying that little extra and getting a 1900, do you think its worth it and what would be better?

Really depends on what resolution you play at. If you have a 19" monitor or smaller in my opinion an x1900xt is complete overkill.

Get the x1900, any brand will do as they are all the same, all based on the referance design, only difference is the pics on the cooler, and what software you get, id just get the cheapest. :)

I dunno, I game on a 19" LCD and I think having a X1900XT allows you to get some eye candy for "free" particularly AA & AF. Ofcourse the X1800XT is also a very fast card.
