hi guys

i have just got my car and it came with some speakers which i have just installed there some cheap make but sound ok, there is a 180w in each door and 2 80w speakers in the dash.

The head unit that came with the car is doing an ok job of pushing the speakers but wont pick up radio or remember any settings so it needs replacing.

I would like something cheap around £50ish i am not expecting anything amazing but as long as it has an aux in for my ipod and plays cd's i am happy.

thanks for any help guys

yer its a bad connection on the back of the radio but its a problem with the radio i carnt see a way to fix it and tbh the problems with the radio such as having to change the settings everytime i get in the car make it want to replace it.

Its not a bad connection - the switched and permanent live are the wrong way around.

Anything new for 50 quid is going to be cheap and nasty, you may as well stick with the cheap and nasty stuff you've already got

i know it works fine as it had a sony tape deck witch i tryed and that works fine for radio

so i know it work i have seen some sony and jvc stuff online so will prob go down that route unless someone has something to recommend.
