Hi there

The Subaru Type 25 which is sold by Litchfields and built at PowerStation is on Fifth Gear in a few minutes. Tune in folks as I reckon this is the best Subaru ever made so will be interesting to see what they think. :)

Hi there

WOW what a car!!

That just impresses me so much, an absolute weapon of a car that beats cars that cost over double/triple and still not as practical. :)

Yeah but it still looks like it costs £25k.

Maybe so maybe thats a good thing. As whether straight line or on corners its gonna destroy pretty much absolutely any other car on the road, including real exotics. :)

Ferarri or Suburu. No contest really though even if it does cost 3 times more. Nice, but not as impressive as that Evo green one, cant remember the tuner but would blow this away

Norris Designs evo? As far as I know, they have only made one.

You mean the short wheelbase one??? Absolutely awesome car 841bhp and 635 ft/lb of torque

Gives you 215 Mph+, ¼ mile: Sub 9 seconds.

Would it? Litchfield beat them in the tuner grand prix :D

And the Norris evo is a one off, the Type 25 is a production car :)

I wouldn't buy a car which looks like it cost roughly half what I paid for it, especially a 'sports' car.

I did that with the Elise!

Yeah Norris

Norris Evo is a one off... and it got beat by the Type 25 Race Car anyway.. lol
The point of the Type 25 is that it has the new 911 Turbo pace, without the price, four doors etc etc. No body can deny the Type 25 is mental, if I had that kind of money there really would be NOTHING else to buy that could even come close to the Type 25's pace.

But my point remains. It takes a certain kind of enthusiast to spend £40k (which is a hell of a lot of money for a car) on an Impreza.

well the new 911 turbo does 8.0 dead from 0-100 mph and 190mph+ and the subaru most certainly doesnt although by pace they mean round a short twisty track or a b-road blat.yeah the scooby also does without the looks, its one of the uglies cars on the planet imo.there are cars at that price to rival the type 25,buy an evo ix 360 and take it that little bit further with boost mods and you have a type 25 equaller although with a bit more lag.ive driven plenty of scoobies including jap wrx-sti v5,p1 ect and every evo ive driven always feels a better car.the last evo6 i drove was a stonker and made you feel way more a hero than any subaru ive ever drove although i love the evo6 looks i wouldnt say it was a looker.
esentially yeah the type 25 is a really good car but not one i would ever consider at £40k but thats mainly on its looks and fact i hate the exhaust note of them

the type 25 does 0-100 in just over 8sec... I don't think the 911 would get too far ahead on a straight. and considering they have the same power to weight ratio... hmmm
