Hey guys... I'm off to Prague on Thursday...

Any ideas of on some good places for a few students to go to have a good time?
Also how much spending money do you think is suitable for 4 days?

Thanks

There is a club near the Charles bridge called The Golden Tree which is good and easy to miss if you don't know about it. You could survive and have a good time with about £150 easily.

4 days, I would say 150 to 200 for students.

f you want to go clubbing: MishMash, honey bunny, Lavka, KL, Duplex (but more up market), Mecca i
If you want to go to a nice bar with a small dance floor: Bombay café (probably the best) M1, N11,
If you just want to go to a nice cocktail bar: alcohol Bar, treters, ocean drive

Just got back today.

There is a nice bar/club under the Charles bridge, I forget the name, but there is a floating bar next door.

The bar itself is built into a cavern under the bridge, good little place :)

blue lights bar?

Really couldnt remember the name. I know that if you walk onto the main side of the bridge, and look immediately left, you see a floating 'irish' bar... its next to there.

To get in, you walk down this kinda passage that has some shops in?

Sounds great... I'll make a list of these places so I can just catch a taxi there... do most the taxi's drivers speak any english?

I think we've got a good price overall £200 including flight and accommodation each.. £300 spending... total is £500 which is not bad at all!

Do you know if its possible to withdraw cash from cash-points/banks over there if I use a Visa Electron?

Yeah, you'll be ok.

I think I took £200 for 3 1/2 days, and the only reason I spent it all was cuz I met a bunch of American students and ended up buyin 15 people about 10 rounds of jack daniels.

Yup thats a good - one been there.

There's also a few *cough* other types of bars late at night. thing's to do with glass and snakes(!)

Buggy Buggy is a great little strip club, but there will be lots of places to visit. The drunken stagger from bar to bar is great fun, but pickpockets are rife so be careful with your wallet.
People trying to get you into their club can be very irritating, and sometime intimidating, and be careful with your cards. One of my mates had his card cloned at a bar while we were out there.

Oh right... well once I get back I'm just going to say I've lost my card to be on the safe side.

I've probably painted a very negative picture there, but I've been twice and had an amazing time on both occasions. You just have to be a bit savvy.

I went last year and it was great... but I've forgotten everything!

Isn't the Goldern Tree a strip joint?

Darling Boom Boom's was the highlight of my trip out there, drinks prices are ridiculous but its unavoidable in that sort of place wherever you go. :D

Yeah go to Charles Bridge, there is a good bar/nightclub there and another club - head for the torture museum ;) I think!

Stay away from Duplex - it is not worth it, even the strip bar underneath it (fnar!) was rubbish...

DONT eat anywhere in the square - there are cheaper places.

Have a good time! ;)
