Macheda...is there a point really?
I was just thinking, why have we never tried Berbatov as a creative midfielder. Have I smoked some bad granola or is that a worth a shot?
I don't think he really covers enough ground to do that. His short passing and control is his best asset really so he's best as part of a front two.
Pirlo doesn't cover a massive amount of ground either in a slightly deeper role but Berbatov is very hard to knock off the ball and does pick rather a nice pass. Surprised given our issues last year in the middle that he didn't get a shot at it.
