So here we are, the last day of Premiership football for 3 months. *tear*
It feels like the first time this season that we all play at 3pm on the same day.

Looking at the table, there are a number of games to look out for, Liverpool and Arsenal can both finish 3rd, Liverpool have a slight goal advantage at the minute. Tottenham and Everton fighting for 5th place, Everton with a much bigger goal difference, Bolton could even sneak 5th place if they win and both Everton and Spurs lose. Reading and Portsmouth could each sneak into Europe depending on other results. And down in the relegation zone, one more team to be decided with Charlton and Watford already relegated. Sheffield Utd and West Ham not safe yet, a win for Wigan could see either of those two drop depending on how the West Ham game is going. I think it will be determined by goal difference personally.

So here's hoping for a fantastic weekend of football, enjoy the games lads! :)

Don't forget the Intertotocup place (8th) is still up for grabs from Blackburn too, but it means them beating Reading by 4 goals (plus Pompey losing at home to L'Arse)!

Wow, Pool only conceeded 5 goals at Anfield this season? That's pretty impressive.

Arsenal's 16 says it all. Too many 1-1s this year.

Worst day of the year, every year.
We don't even have a World Cup or European Championship to help with the pain.

African Nations will have to do as the big tournament of 2007. Hope it's better than the last one, despite there being some cracking teams I was uninspired by the football played :(.

Well got myself a ticket for Pompey Arsenal Game, so as a spurs fan will be cheering on the pompey for that intertoto position, although if bolton carry on they will be out of europe completely, cant see anything but a home win for spurs to get that 5th spot (fingers crossed) :D

Isn't it only the highest placed team that chooses to enter the intertoto cup not necessarily eighth place?

I hope West Ham stay up, there squad is worthy of a Premiership status and I'm sure they'll be a lot better next year.

Would like to see Sheff U go down, there football bores me and they'll just be in a relgation fight again next season. Come on Wigan & WH!

Is he playing?

*Hoping for fantasy footy purposes*

I hope so, but if he doesn't start, he most definitely will play in the second half. Ferguson said he would rest 2 or 3 players, I'd imagine that Scholes, Giggs would be amongst those rested. But I think all of them will want to play in the last game of the season, might even see Neville being brought on in the last minute, so he can lift the Premiership trophy with the red shirt on.

I will be well peeved if Chelsea let Everton beat them and we fail to beat Man City at home.

Chelsea won't let Everton beat them mate as they want to match Liverpools record for undefeated games at home.

And I think you'll nicely dispose of City :)

lol i bet tevez scores the wining goal that keeps WH up
that will really **** off wigan and co

Heinze
Evra
Solskjaer
Fletcher
Carrick
Richardson
Smith
Rooney

Vidic, Giggs, Scholes and Ronaldo on the bench :(

I don't see the point in resting them, finals a week away, rather them be in the swing of things rather than coming into a big game having not played in a couple of weeks. Ah well, Fergie knows best no doubt :p
