We were absolutely poor today - absolutely gutless performance. Whatever the hell has happened to our captain i don't know.

Can't believe what a horrible, gutless performance i've just witnessed.

We have no confidence or bottle, why don't we take the game to someone else rather than they them taking the game to us. We need to attack as a team, and get players in the box - pack it, not just hitting aimless balls into no-one in the box.

Overal an unambitious, Gutless performance. United were a far better side.

Hopefully we can start to pick up points now we have bolton away, chelsea away, united away and everton away out the way....

Bitter Bitter Liverpool fan. Like a lot of Liverpool fans. Always moaning that they never got the recognition in the 60's, 70's & 80's because of Utd. Carry on living in the past, Keep waving your 18 times banners at Old Trafford in the pitifull attempt to cover up the FACT that you have not won the top flight league trophy since 1990. Your not big time anymore ?

Please keep going on about the five times European champions that you are and that the last time you did it, it finally proved that not the best team wins the Champions League

Let us not forget the sanctamonious claptrap and double standards that always accompanies these issues of loyalty. On the one hand Liverpool fans always boo Rooney and call him a Judas for going to Utd as the law is nobody from the great city of Liverpool is allowed to goto Utd. Who cares if Rooney is a Scouser. Certainly nobody at Utd Then on the other hand there is Stevie G always comes up about him being the model pro and loyal to the club and the only reason he stopped was for the love Anfield and the old Spion Kop. The best is you lot took it hook line and sinker and got a good dry humping for good measure as he was on his way to Chelsea if it wasnt for the threats to him and his family

Well beaten today by a better side who played better football.

We got plenty of recognition in the 70s-80s. Mostly because we had half the world bent over without lube.

The 18 times banners and five times Euro Champs banners hurt man u fans. Yes it is a pitiful attempt to gloss over the cracks but it winds your lot up so that's why it is done. And as for the best team not winning the champions league.....ask Bayern Munich about that!

What winds me up most about the knucklehead united fans is the abuse they dish out to Scousers every single game, regardless of the opposition, when they best player by a country mile is a Scouser.

And no offence, but you are so far off the mark with the threats to Stevie and his family it is untrue. That's all I can say about that. I would love to share a lot of the conversations I have had but I just cannot. All I will say is that Liverpool see Stevie as a commodity and the time will come when they cash in on him. He knows that and so do they. Dont bet against it being this summer.

Finally, yeah we were beaten but not outclassed. One sloppy defended goal and fluke from Ali G.
