Some entertaining looking fixtures, I fancy Spurs making the better of Everton at home as per usual. Berbatov and Jenas are both doubtful, I imagine both Defoe and Zokora will regain their starting berths.

Another tricky away fixture for "the best team" in the league will test their genuine claim to that title. Not sure how much Blackburn are missing Bellamy's trickery though?

Cannot see Everton beating us at WHL, they might nick a point at best. Even without King at the back Dawson will have the beating of Beattie, Davenport may have trouble with AJ however. The game will be won in midfield and if Spurs get some rhythm I can't see Everton coping with Lennon's trickery down the right and the tenacious trio of Davids, Tainio and Zokora. Jenas if he's fit may also have something to say if he maintains some form.

in my opinion davenport is below standard and i think dawson misses the leadership of king, lennon will cause every team problems but i feel tottenham have a lack of width on left, (although if downing arrives soon then they will have a top mifdfield). be an interesting game to see

I agree with you about Davenport he is not top 6 standard, hes got a good turn of pace and good in the air but his reading of the game and marking let him down imo. He does have the attributes to be a better player if he improves though, and the only way he'll do that is experience so while King is out is a good test for him.

I'd disagree about Dawson missing the leadership of King, maybe the calming presence of him but Daws can more than fill in for the organisation of the back 4.

Slightly off topic, has prem plus gone up a pound this year? I was sure it was £7 last year, yet my Arsenal game has cost £8?

Villa vs Newcastle looks a good game, Martins debut against an organised Villa team, should be interesting.

Not sure mate. If it has then, maybe its because there won't be any PP next season, due to the new TV deals. So maybe they want to take in a few more quid?

Aye the season ticket price has increased to under the offer i remember it being £50 last year but £60 this year

Liverpool 2 WH 1

flukey goal ( and poor from Reina ) gave WH lead

30yd strike from Agger , swerved that much that Darrell Hair has accused him of ball tampering, for the equaliser

Good move from Crouch gave Liverpool lead

It was £7 last season, £6 the season before and £5 before that as far as I know.

Ridiculous that a game is £8 - it'll get as bad as boxing, no doubt. About £15 quid for a game in a few years.

Great goal by Agger. Despite his goal I still want to see Crouch come off, he has as much strength as a wet sandwich.

That Agger goal was a peach, couldn't have got it any more into the top corner the swerve and curve on it was insane, great strike. Lovely team goal for the 2nd, Crouchy took it very well.

I would like to see Kuyt come on now and get a good half of footy under his belt. Can't wait to Riise and Carra are fit again because our defense does look shady at times. I reckon though Hyypia has a real fight on his hands with Agger when Carra does come back because the lad has been superb pre-season and early season, fully justifies his inclusion in the team!

Get in there 2-1. :D

Had this on the live text on the BBC site, and this came up :-

77:26
Shot by Dirk Kuyt (Liverpool) right-footed from right channel (20 yards), save (parried) by Jose Reina (Liverpool).

I was like WTF is he doing, OTHER WAY!!!!!. :D

Though we lost again to Liverpool I'm still proud of the way the hammers played. First half goal was lucky but in the 2nd half West Ham was slightly the better team.

Kuyt came on and looked bright and if Liverpool keep injury free this season they can have a good crack at the title.
For my beloved hammers I feel that top six can be possible as we've got a good young team, play good football and will always score.
