Prescription 3d polorized glasses

Hi,

As I wear glasses already I find it a real pain to wear 3D glasses over the top of my existing pair, do anybody know if you can get prescription ones somewhere?

No offence intended, but that might be the geekiest question I've seen on OC UK which is saying something given the nature of the site.

ive seen an advert in scrivens options if you have them your way. not sure on price though.

How about getting some contacts? I have some but I only use them for special occasions or when I'm out and about with the camera, all other times I just wear my glasses.

Carry around a bottle of Optrex then!...

Probly cheaper than 3D Prescription glasses.. given specialist things like Prescription Goggles/Dive Masks cost the earth!!...

Lewis responded that designer Real D glasses, including Gucci designs, will be available "in certain outlets" before "Avatar" opens in December. Prescription glasses are on the way some time later.

You will have to wait.

Could I please order the earth for £16 please? even dive masks can be had for as little as £70.

Back on topic I've worn 3d specs over glasses and with contact lenses and notices no difference in the experience except obviously you look like more of a tit with two pairs of specs on.

Hmmmm Things have changed then!.. Last time I looked a Dive Mask cost upward of £150/200!!... but even £70 is expensive for something not worn all the time like a normal pair of Glasses!!..

The problem with polarised 3d glasses is that there is no uniform standard yet, different projectors/screens use a different type of polorisation. I'd expect custom lenses would cost 1000's as they are so niche.
