I recently gotten my Mega Sg. I read SmokeMonster's notes on game save data and how removing cartridges when system is powered on can result in savegame loss or even damage to console it self.
What happened was that i had just powered my console and was in main menu of Mega Sg. I realised that my 8bitdo M30 2.4g controller's reciever was set in player 2 port instead of player 1. I instinctively pulled it out
to switch it out with one sitting in player 1 port and Mega Sg lost signal with TV (TV showing no signal with console on screen) and Mega Sg's LED lit up solid white. After I switched out recievers and turned console off and on the Mega Sg ran just fine.
My question is, does this, sudden "signal-outage" endanger my Mega Sg in any way?
