Previewing pictures within a explorer window-Vista

It did work and now it doesnt....

Have i turned something off by mistake as this is all i get now

I want to be able to see the pictures as previews if you know what i mean?

Try making the size of the thumbnail bigger under the view tab on the toolbar.

Unfortunately that doesnt work it just makes the icons bigger

There's a bug in Vista that stops it remembering folder views IIRC. Might be in vain setting up anything now to have it change by itself later on.

Try Right clicking a folder, click the customize taband then under the 'what kind of folder you want' click pictures and videos.
If this works, go to the top level folder and do the same ensuring the 'also apply to subfolders' is ticked.

Yeah I think there is, it's flipping annoying as well

this used to happen back in win2k. Was fixed by a registry entry back then
