They weren't meant to be 133/176 at launch.
That's the point.

eh?
The 6850 was to compete with the 460 768mb it now doesn't.
People will just buy the 460 1GB for 149 instead
I'm in the exact same boat and will be doing just as you are.well if the GTX 460 stays at the price it is i will be picking one up thursday, looks like im staying with the green team, if the price of the 6870 stayed at 176 i would have picked one of them up. extra £30 for better performance.

looks like the GTX460 has gone up know to £151.00 this is a joke, im keeping my money in my wallet.
Reference GTX 460 1GB cards should be priced at maximum of £150.
£119 - GTX 460 768
£151 - GTX 460 1 Gb
£149 - 6850
£199 - 6870.
6850 should be £135, 6870 should be £175 max. Its funny how they also released the 5850 at £199, but then increased the price after it became popular.
I'm pretty sure the GTX 460 has been that price since last Friday? Unless you've been eyeing the cheap Palit version, all the others I've been looking at (Gigabyte, MSI Cyclone) have been around £150.looks like the GTX460 has gone up know to £151.00 this is a joke, im keeping my money in my wallet.

Well, a £1.01 difference is quite as bad as the £20 price hike for the 6850/6870.MSI cyclone was originally £149.99 now it's upto £151.00i was going for it
For £1 pound? lol
