Prices up and down...no sale for me

Price has just been corrected, while I had one in the basket.

Phew ! I was dithering anyway.

Not only that, they messed up the order the last time I dealt with them.

Ordered online... MBoard and a few other things for an upgrade.

Waited.

No Delivery.

Phoned up - "MB is out of stock sir".

Cancelled order, but they told me I`d get free delivery on my next order.

A few days later I found an alternative MB, and placed the order by phone.

Waited.

No Delivery.

Phoned up -"That MB is also out of stock".

Me - "So WTF wasn`t I told that when I ordered over the phone ?"

Never again (unless there`s a real bargain).

Hello Gibbo.

yes it's still present and in stock.

How about you scan the internet and then edit my post;)

Edit: Yes price shot up. Was on today only so they might honour it...

Butthurt much in this thread. It's your right to purchase from elsewhere, it's OcUK's to make a profit. Deal with it, it's a free market (more or less).

You should all be happy there are alternatives. Also, OcUK does very good deals too, everyone seems to forget this.

Nath just gave you the clue that prices will change in a few days, obviously nobody reads the posts though.

Figured it was a mistake. Didnt make sence to sell it cheaper then the 768 version :P

Also ocuk sell the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 460 OC 768MB a good £20 cheaper then them. Yet some people whine that some things cost £10 more when other things are cheaper :)
Plus i always like ocuk for there weekly and today only deals which makes me check the site everyday

£123 was never the 1GB version unless my eyes deceived me. The 768MB was £123.
I had my doubt too...but I also found the £123 Gigabyte GTX460 1GB...but the price was corrected and went back up to £152 within 5 minutes after I found it. Not sure if I'm regretting or not for didn't place the order in time, as I don't exactly need a higher card than my current 9800GTX+ for playing source games at 1680x1050...

Yes 123 WAS the 1GB version. I Added it to my basket, the net was about 105 plus VAT = 123. (DIDnt buy but wanted to see if it actually hit basket at that amount)

It was clearly a pricing error, someone put the net price as the gross price or similar.

Eflyer did same with some HDD when I spotted one before, I am sure its an easy mistake to make. If you don't have any checks in place as a retailer then thats the risk of human error. Although as we know its treated as an "invitation to treat" and not a contract even if you have made payment.

Just read on the site and follow to the etailer that was selling £124 Gigabyte GTX460 1GB...apparenting someone phoned up the etailer, and got the reply that the price has been confirmed to be a mistake. To quote what the person posted:
"they said none of the orders have been honoured at the lower price" :p

Guess no need to feel gutted for missing that deal afterall. Wonder if OP will be back here crying again when he get the news  Well, at least he will still be able to get it at £152.
