Now before anybody asks, I haven't actually witnessed this happening - this is all word of mouth so there's probably a lot of relevant questions I can't answer. I did however build the PC, so...

When my friend launches Pro Evo, the screen goes black as if the intro is going to start and then hangs. He has a new mobo (Asus if I remember) Core Duo Processor, Radeon X1950, good ram etc and is running XP64.

Are there any known issues with Pro Evo and dual processors, the graphics card he has or XP64 that anybody knows of? Are there any things we can try, bearing in mind we don't have any replacement components to swap in and try and isolate the problem hardware?

Hi all,

first post and I can help you.

Ever heard the saying "if I had a £ " well this would be true for If I had a £ for everyone who has a mid - high end ATI card and pro evo.

IT'S NOT YOUR FRIEND system to fault!!

This WILL work please trust me.

you need to down load this NO CD CRACK program from here

http://rapidshare.com/files/947669/rld-pes6.rar.html

Download it, unpack it using something like winzip, copy it n paste it into
C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 6
it will ask if it's o.k to over right the pro evo files tick yes.

once done start the game up from desk top, now your disk drive won't run the disk as you have the no cd crack code.

Play the game.

It works 100% of the time.

Some systems with a ATI card before the code, goes like you friend others do load but stutter badly in the match(how mine was).

I promise it will be sussed ;)

Let me know how your friend goes

My friend will be bowing down at your altar shortly if this works... ;)

Thanks a million - will report back soon.

Yes keep me posted.

I often go on a pro evo 6 forum.

There is a thread on there call STUTTER (biggest on the whole board)
you would not believe how many people have had either won't load up or does and stutter. ONLY on mid- high end ATI's not nvidea.

+ there must be 30 other threads were people didn't find the main threads, all having and asking about the problem.

Unfortunately it didn't work, and given that he lives about 50 miles away, I'm not able to look at this myself until I visit him (in 2 weeks).

I suppose the only other course would be to contact Konami...
