Problem with GeIL 2GB PC6400 800MHz on DS4

Hello,

I built my system a few days ago using a DS4, the Geil ram and a intel 6400 core 2 duo.

when running everything at stock, I am getting errors in memtest when running at the memories rated speed, at SPD, and even at 533mhz.

I am using the default + 0.3v to make it 2.1V.

Is the ram faulty?

Sounds like a dodgy stick of ram alright.

Try running memtest with each stick on it's own, to see which one is faulty. If they both fail at 533Mhz, then try using different slots, and if they still fail then it may be the mobo that's faulty.
