Hello. First of all I would like to apologize for my english as is not my main language. Second I am new on this forum so would like to apologize for any mistakes. Yesterday my HDD stopped working. It is a 2TB Seagate which had 2 partitions. My system start booting very slow and all operations in the system starts to be really slow. System saw the disk and both partitions but I was unable to get access to it. In HD Tune when I choose that disk program just freeze. I can hear that the hard disk is working but it sound like it is ine the loop reading. I would like to ask what is an usuall cost of HDD data recovery? Could I do something for my own? I had some movies and music there I am not really worry about, only photos and record videos are important to me. Thanks

Welcome to the club. I've just had to pull out 4 of the Seagate 2TB drives as 2 in my raid had started throwing errors.

That's now 4 I've had fail from 7. Granted they are now around 6 years old.
