Problem With Kids Fire Tablet

Please can anyone help. Tried to login to kods fire tablet today. Hadn't needed to access it since first day. Totally forgot pin, tried several times and got locked out for several hours.

Since then I've factory reset it via the bootloader menu. It's back online but now it only ever sets up the child profile and there is no adult profile. Any ideas how it cam be added. There's literally no way for me to do it that I know.

Very vague idea since it's ages since I had one of these tablets. Can you reset via your adult amazon account?

Factory reset
Setup device on WiFi
Add amazon account email and password
Setup child profile

Then that's it, it adds kids profile same as before all this. But that's all I can access. No parental controls options. No adult profile. Everything I do just takes me back to child profile.

Finally seems to have been fixed. Not by a proven method but just trial and error. As for Amazon live chat, they were next to useless. Wouldn't deviate from the script. Wouldn't listen to what I was saying. Trying to tell me to do things that I had already done and told them I had done 3 times. So I left it overnight, rebooted again this morning and profile appeared on device.
