I picked up an rgb 120mm fan with a 6 pin connector to use in an rgb fan hub (one that has a load of 6 pin sockets for fans and a coupla others for led strips). Now the new fan doesn't work at all, no spin, no lights, nothing, when connected to the hub. My question is, am I right in assuming that the 6 pin connectors are a sort of industry standard and should work regardless of manufacturer, ie: a compatibility issue.
