Problem with WD2500JS-00MVB1 and ASrock 939S56-M

Hi all,

Ive got an ASrock 939S56-M which is only intermittently seeing my WD2500JS 250gig hdd. I have tried replacement cables, different SATA bus etc but the problem remains. The hdd has also just been RMA'd by WD for the same issue so its not the drive. Have you got any ideas before I scap the motherboard?

Anyone>? Could it be a problem because the drive is sata 2 but the motherboard is sata 1? Is there a way to force the drive to sata 1?

Any ideas? My WD SATA1 drive works fine
