Iv fitted Club 3D hd3850 into my Dell Insirion 530.
However it says that I need to plug in a 6-pin PCI-E power connection.

Where can I get one of these?

Didnt the card come with an adaptor to allow you to convert 2 molexes to a single 6 pin PCI-E plug.

You may not need the adaptor tho, you may have the correct connector on your PSU, have you checked?

I just checked to make sure I dont order the wrong thing, but i dont seem to have any of those white 4 pin connectors, they are a different skinnier type.
Is there another cabel that will work?

the problem is though that iv no molex connectors at all, just 1 really wide one going to the main board. the hdd, card reader and dvd writer have skinny black connectors??

I have the same pc and there is only 2 spare sata power leads, unfortunately you need a new psu :( i swapped mine with an enermax liberty modular one

God I hate Dell desktops:(
So I just need a new power supply?
Theres several on the OCUK site, what 'w' did you go for? And did you just buy that, switch it with your Dell one, and everything connected up? Or did you also need to buy stuff seperately?

yeah just a psu, i went for a modular one as the the case is fairly small and didnt want it clutered full of cables, simple 5 minute job, unplug 2 from motherboard, the 1 or 2 from optical(s) and 1 or 2 from HDD(s) and swap with new one.
