Products you would like to see from Apple?

Ooo thought of something else nice, real touchpad (and magic pad) windows drivers! Bootcamp sucks a bit trying to get the 2 finger right click to work properly... (and id love to use the magic trackpad on a real windows pc...)

That will be POWER hungry and HEAVY.

Some people say the current iPad at 9.7 inch is too heavy, imagine something that is 25% bigger?

And the i5? Say good bye to the Battery life! Unless you put in something the size of a Macbook pro battery in there, which then it will be even heavier.

Which would be fine, as I'm not a 9 year old girl. :p

ULV Core i5, ultra low voltage. Battery life would be as good or better than a normal MBP.

When he said tablet I thought of graphics tablet. I wonder if they could make something to rival wacom :)

Exactly what I had in mind.

I want Apple to release OS X for license to run on any hardware. Apple won't ever do it, because that'd completely cannibalise their hardware sales, but it'd be great for someone like me.

I mean, I like my Macbook Pro, but most of my love for it comes from the operating system, not really the hardware. And i'd love to run it on my desktop, properly.

If they did that they would have to open it up to third party drivers. And it is badly written third party drivers that are responsible for most of the crashes you find in Windows.

One of the big factors in OS X being relatively trouble-free is the fact Apple gets to decide exactly what it will support.

Something to compete with the Sony Vaio-Z series so I don't have to buy a PC laptop after 8 years of having a Mac as they physically don't make what I want right now :(

Or shave half a kilo off the 15" mbp and let me have a 1920x1200 screen on it! :)

Completely and 100% true. But it isn't *just* the stability I like about Mac OS X, in fact, it is often a bullet point that is towards the bottom of the pile, because I'm fine with Windows now in regards to stability.

It is many other areas that aren't likely to be hit too much by running it on different platforms. I of course appreciate the uniformity and stability brought by restricting hardware, but would be nice.

Of course, it is wishful thinking, it would never happen. Not with Mac sales continuing to rise, along with Apple's market value and bank balance. :p

I would actually like them to create home furnishings. Lamps, speakers and an amplifier. I think the design aspects of these would be stunning esp the lamps. Making computers has been easy for them to only really compete with a windows based system but to make a games console I think would sell them a load at first but it'll die after 6 months. Xbox 360 is pretty much a major sucess even dispite its huge flaws. If the xbox 360 had a really fast User UI it would be perfect but the menus can be a massive delay when inside a game and you wanna make a quick change to something.

I hope they do not enter the Camera market. I really do feel out of any area they could go into realistically the camera market would be one that they would fail miserably at with their ignorant attitude to withdraw features from products they feel the end user wouldn't want.

I could easily see Apple clothes at some point, maybe with built in electronics. It would be quite funny to see people plug their iPhone8s into their coat to get a better signal.

Apple watch. They've certainly thought about it with the new iPod nano. Some refinements, and it could work!
