Proggy to keep pesky kids off my pc

Just switch users/logout when you're leaving your PC? That way they'll have to know your password to log in.

You could also set your screensaver to 2 minutes and have it display the log in screen on return.

Get a case with a lockable front door and keep the key with you at all times :p?

Sorry, I have no idea :o

lol...

its a pain, what they do is on the login screen they ctrl-alt-del delete my name and type in admin and it just by-passes the login, easy as that

there is only my account on my pc, no matter what i do they bypass it, we all know the windows login is floored

its not flawed, its flawed if its not set up correctly as by default, windows leaves the "administrator" account without a password.

start-->run-->control userpasswords2-->advanced-->advanced-->users. set a password for the admin account, set one for yours, disable guest login etc etc.

that, or your kids are super geniuses.. or a bios password, theres no getting around that, unless the super geniuses know how to clear a bios by taking the battery out? :)

I'd be VERY, VERY surprised if, once you've set a strong administrator password, they are able to get round it "just like that" - if so - get your kids to tell Microsoft how they're doing it - because there'll be a few million computer systems around the world running Windows that'll require a pretty urgent security update.

Or in other words, either you've not set the passwords right, or strong enough...

buy a laptop and sell the desktop and take laptop with you!
totally pointless but u have it with you all the time!!!!!!!!
