Is there such a program that can download individual files from an archive?

I downloaded a rather big .zip archive recently and a couple of the files are corrupt. It would be awesome if there was a program capable of downloading just the files I need.

I doubt it. I have never heard of such a thing anyways.

The fact is you usually need to know what the file contains before you can decide it is an archive. And to find out what it contains you have to download it!

Hmm are you syaing you already downloaded the zip.

If so and it won't let you extract the file in one hit as it is corrup, have you just tried opening the file (right click, open) with winzip or 7zip and simply dragging the file to your desktop?

This has worked for me when some of the individual files within an archive are corrupt.

Tried opening it and extracting individual files but they're the problem. Few of them are borken, not the zip itself. No par files as its a game client (legit before you ask) dloaded from a site. Don't think theres much I can do with it unfortunately.
