as this is a thread for the parvum i wonder if someone can shed some light on my build, as ive just started to build a parvum s2.0 but i cant find any info how to connect the vandal switch that comes with it so what wires go on what connector i know they go on the power led and that but dont want to muck it up if im wrong, so where does the red&black and yellow&blue connect to.

Yellow & Blue on Power LED and the remaining 2 on power switch. You'll have to remove either 1 or both pins for the power as it's a 2 pin header, not 3.

ok thanks what do you mean remove pins.

You'll have to pop the pins out of the header in order to connect to the motherboard.

i love this project and the backplate really is a nice touch! debating getting one for my own build

I'd highly recommend it - they are stunning, well made and amazing to work with. My only gripe is the lack of dust filter support. I've had some 120mm DemciFlex filters which I've had to bodge in order to use on the front of the case.

I've had to not use any on the top intakes as my H100i doesn't sit right and I'd hate to break the case.

cheers for the input. might have to order one then. mind me asking how much it cost you to get it personalized?

The backplate can be ordered from ColdZero. If you wanted custom parts for your Parvum, drop them an email and they will provide you with prices. I had considered getting a red motherboard tray, but I don't think it would make much of a difference.

UPDATE

So, been at i51 for a few days now and I've been speaking to the Parvum gents and got some great feedback on my build. So great in fact, I have some mods on the way, with their help ;)

Starting with the the top black panel, it will be replaced with a red one and a new black panel will be added on top of the red to give a double layer. The edges of the top black panel will have a bezel, allowing it to meet the edge of the case on all sides.

They have also offered me a new clear side panel as mine has been scratched while trying to clean it and some sample fans they are working on, which I will look to test in a variety of combinations.

Further updates with pictures will follow over the next week :D

I hope the parvum lads keep at it i can't wait to begin my build but funds won't allow right now.. Before July im promising myself to bring a good one to i52

It would seem their customer base is ever growing, the number of threads on here with Parvum builds has increased dramatically since the launch of the S2, so I'd imagine they will continue to be busy for a while. They are also releasing an ITX case soon, so that I'm sure will bring more interesting builds.

I've just been advised that my parcel from them will be collected tomorrow for delivery on Friday - cannot wait to get more work done.

Pics will follow :D

So got home to this after dropping my wife off at work:

Package consisted off replacement acrylic to doubel layer the top of the case & a replacement side panel which got scratched while cleaning.

As you can see, the top layer has a bezel which will make it look neater once it's all put together.

I had previously purchased some DemciFlex dust filters which I intended to use on the top and front of my case. Unfortunately, the fans didn't sit flat once the filter was fitted. I experimented and cut out the filter to sandwich it between the 2 front layers, this worked beautifully. Intending to do the same on the top, I have cut the remaining 2 filters for this purpose.

This just shows you the bezel against the 2 top layers

So there we have it. I may make some adjustments like adding some Zaward G3s to the H100i at the front for aesthetic purposes, but I think I'm done - unless I decide on a custom loop!!

looking good Snips86x, was down at parvum myself today as picked up a new tinted panel, there as busy as ever, but seeing that top panel i might just order that aswell. :)

Thanks Paul!

I think is looks much better having the double top, matches the front & back. How is your tinted panel working out for you?

I've managed to get a 2nd g/card from a mate who is breaking down him mining gear, he has let me borrow anther 7970 for a while, so I'm going to experiment with crossfire.

I'm not anticipating any success as they will be sandwiched, but my front case fans shift 95CFM, so I'm hoping this will make some difference with the temp.

I would love to do a custom loop, but the cost of WC'ing for me any time soon is a no no.

I'm going to try and get my parts from the MM to save on money. Unsure what I will buy new, I guess I'll found out when it comes round to it.

£475 sounds about right! What colour coolant you going for? I was going to go for red, but my wife said red would be too much, where as clear would look better!

Parvum cases are so nice! my brother wants me to build him a small system so I think I'll show him this log

They are soon to release an ITX version too!

Like it. Especially the sleeving.

Thanks. I went with the telios sleeving as it's got a slightly plastic texture to it. It also doesn't attract dust like the Bitfenix Alchemy extensions do.

Looks amazing mate - nice mods from Parvum too. Can't wait for a Full ATX mega case from them

That would be nuts, make sure you do a project log :)

Looking forward to seeing this at i52. The fan filter mod is great and much like what we plan to add to the S3.0 perhaps!

I wish I could make i52, more like i53. Wife wouldn't appreciate me attending twice in 1 year!

I do have some messing to do still as I'm still having issues with dust in the case. My ideas are:

1 - Find a dust filter for the PSU as this section gets really dusty when the system is under full load, pulling dust in from outside the case and circulating it.

2 - Find or make a custom PCIE exhaust. Currently, the remaining 2 slots are open, allowing dust to travel through. I cannot block them as my case needs to vent air out the rear, GPU hits mid 80s in this weather.

Maybe I (you?) could great a square funnel type unit which is open next to the GPU, allowing the fans to pull/push air, closed at the bottom and has a space towards the front of the case for an 80/120mm fan. I think I need to CAD something!!

I have been watching these builds and they look great but how resistant is the acrylic to marking or scratching ?

If you're careful, they tend to hold out quite well. I have a few times ran the allen key across the acrylic sheet when removing the screws. They seem to easily wipe away.

There are some worse scratches on the interior, but take your time while building and dismantling, you'll be fine :)
