I need to get a projector ordered this week but, because I'm out of the country at the moment, I'm unable to demo. I've no idea how susceptible I am to the colour wheel effect of DLP's so not sure if I should go LCD. Bit silly ordering under these circumstances which is why I could really do with your advice.
I need a small image size compared to the throw distance so I'm finding this is limiting my choices. The throw distance is 5 metres with a screen size of 190 x 107 cm viewable. Although it will also be used with a larger screen (size depending on what the projector is capable of) at the same throw distance occasionally.
It will be used for tv and films. Noise level is a concern so the quieter the better. Budget is < £1.5k. I was thinking of the Epson TW3200 which seems to fit the bill. Any recommendations?
Thanks for your help.
