What a depressing video, a load of idiots addicted to prescription medication because they believe it's the secret to getting up early and dragging themselves to the gym. Effects of prolonged usage unknown. Count me out.
I used modafinil when working crushing 14-16hr days on my side business.
Works amazing to be honest, you can function for full 16hrs and still get quality 8 hours sleep without interrupting sleep cycle.
However......
You need to be eating super clean diet for it to REALLY work, I mean zero takeaway garbage cut out refined sugar, lots of veg and good protein sources.
Some points my eating slipped and i'd just feel like it did nothing to me... diet alone makes you feel you have tons more energy then when you stack it with modafinil it can be awesome.
If you are interested however most detailed article on modafinil can be found here, I researched it for a long time before I took it.
Edit: anyone who takes modafinil with the idea of replacing sleep is a moron... and you deserve to get messed up. I took modafinil whilst getting quality 8hrs a night in a blacked out room to maximize sleep quality. I took modafinil to function longer and better not to replace sleep because that is definitely not best way to use it. (However I should add I did under sleep some occasions and yes it was a godsend for those times but you keep doing that eventually you are going to end up in a bad spot) Also comparing it to limitless is a gross overstatement.
I was able to try a week of it and it was an immediate and lasting improvement to my day, however it seems like something like that isn't healthy used for too long. I also stayed up longer than I usually did but, for me that's a good thing because it was abnormal already.
