I currently have the usual 3 (Resistance, F1 & Motorstorm) but haven't tried any of them online as yet.

Simple question really, are any of them any good?

or is there a game out which is better for online play?

Cheers

I've got RFoM and MotorStorm. Both I've enjoyed online. Had much more fun on the launch weekend with those two games than I've had on Xbox Live in 1 year.

That could be a bonus for me. I hate hearing all the trash talk you get half the time.

I used my bluetooth headset, but never tried it online just to chat to my mate when in dashboard...

It doesn't support voice chat as a system-wide in-game option. It's down to each game itself.

ahhh, does that mean online performance might suffer if a game chooses to support voice chat? if that is the case do all xbox online games suffer for supporting voice in all games?

That's a good thing in my book.

not in mine you might as well be playing against AI, i like to get conversations going and have a laugh, its hard to find the right people to do this with but when you get the right people its better than playing the actual game itself and just adds more to the experience.

you only get this from idiots, build up a good friends list and then you wont have to play with any of these idiots, it takes time but its a lot better than no comms at all, what happens if you want to tell your team mate not to go into a room, or if you have to pass a message quickly, flag has been dropped near the fountain, etc. it is a very valuable tool when used properly, if someone is trash talking you can mute them

do you mean a game might suffer speed wise due to someone not being able to send data quickly enough, well you need broadband for a start which i think is more than capable of sending and receiving enough data, its just that on the PS3 each games developer has to buy their own servers to support their games, for example nothing is linked together, sony has a server which gives you very basic information (hardly any information at all) on your friends, then each game developer has to run servers for each one of their games, for example rockstar have to buy servers for grand theft auto 4 and then you connect to their servers to play which they run, a game could have online support but if that company goes bankrupt the servers would get taken away and boom you have no online, whereas on the xbox everything is run through microsoft no games company needs to buy/run any servers
