Looking for some advice maybe or something.
Ive got a LG 32LG5020. That will display 720p and 1080p no problems on my Mac Mini on all 3 HDMI ports using a DVI->HDMI lead.
The Xbox360 is also setup in 1080p aswell.
Now my issue is my PS3 will not work on ANY HDMI input at all.
However itll work using the old PS2 AV Lead.
- First thing, i have soft reset holding the power button till it beeps. Screen flickers but nothing.
Ive even done something else i forgot what its called you hold the power button on, itll beep for soft reset keep it held itll beep an turn off. Then turn back on.
Still nothing on the TV.
So youll be thinking maybe the HDMI lead isnt working. However, the ps3 works fine on some cheap Hannspree 37" LCD downstairs. Aswell as on my Girlfriends Samsung 32".
I can use the PS3 on the AV lead and select it to use HDMI as the output but nothing.
I think maybe something wrong with the TV not being able to accept the signal or something?
The TV is around 1yr old maybe a little more.
Its a Series1 PS3.
HDMI lead is 1-2M long maximum.
Any ideas?
